What is Footbag

The Footbag, or also known like Hacky Sack or Fuchi, is a sport of skill, coordination and ability, whose popularity it has extended everywhere quickly, counting on a great number of fans that day to day increases.

This entertained sport causes true addiction between its players, and is that in addition to very being amused, unlike other sports, it really cheap turns out to practice it and can be played anywhere.

Rules of the Footbag

1. Competition level, the Footbag gambles in a delimited field. The measures of the land of game of the Footbag must be of he himself size that those of a badminton field.
The players can move and play footbag within the outer limits of the field (whose measures are of 20 “ by 44 ”). A line in center, divides the field by half, to make the service in diagonal. The height of the network must be of 5 'of stop.

2. Number of players: The Footbag can be played of individual form or by pairs.

3. Number of blows by equipment: In an individual game a maximum of twice can be struck footbag. In doubles (or by pairs), the allowed maximum is of three blows, but it cannot strike a same player twice followed in the same play.

4. Parts of the body with which it is allowed to strike the Footbag: It is allowed to only strike of legal form the Footbag with the feet. However, these rules can be applied of less strict form, since these rules are applied to competition level and they were adopted to finish with the multiple discussions that occurred on whereupon zone of the body habia touched the Footbag. 5. Dynamics of the Footbag: When a player or equipment drops the ball having his possession (service), he only loses the service for his serve, recovering it the opposite equipment. 6. Score: The parties of Footbag gamble 11 or 15 points. It is possible to only write down when one is in possession of the service since we have already mentioned.

7. Service: The service (it removes from the Footbag) is due to make from behind the back line of the field and in diagonal. The player must remove from the right side in the even points and from the left side in the uneven points. Also, the player who makes the serve must take the account and to say as it is the marker before making the service. This serves to avoid confusions or possible mistrusts, since when making a 0-6 serve, if it has not said itself before like is the result would be possible to consider itself that it is a 0-3 serve since the duration of some points can extend too much and also, is possible to be lost the account of the party.

8. Other restrictions of the Footbag:
- It is not allowed the players to touch the network at any moment.
- It is not allowed to step on the back line in the serve of the service.
- It is not allowed to touch or to take hold to the opposites on or under the network.
